Raw {3 Ingredient} Brownie Bites

Brownies, Larabars, energy bars, nibblers… Call these what you like, they are delicious and completely natural.

Yep, gluten free, dairy free, no sugar added amazing. Just three simple ingredients:

Raw 3 Ingredient Brownies | The Wholehearted Wife

Ingredients:
2.5 cups pitted dates
1 cup raw walnuts (or any nuts you like)
4 tbsp cocoa powder

Directions:
In food processor, pulse dates until they are chopped and start to clump into a ball. Add in nuts and cocoa powder and continue to process until it starts to come together and kind of roll around the sides of the processor. (Now that I have a pretty mixer, and only a teeny tiny processor, I process the dates a little at time, then use the mixer to make it all come together).

Once mixed, spread out on a flat parchment paper lined surface (I have used a cutting board, or usually now use an empty lid from my Pyrex casserole dish!) and press into uniform thickness. With a large knife, cut into squares. At this point I usually eat two, then freeze the rest. Frozen they take on a good consistency, like a Larabar!

Once frozen, you can transfer them to a freezer bag to keep in the freezer when chocolate cravings strike!

These aren’t low calorie, because dates are nature’s little sugar lump, but they have no chemicals, no refined sugar, are packed with fiber and healthy fat they are cheaper than any packaged energy bar you will find!
